1. Who we are

Enhanced Business Communications LLC ("EBC," "we," "us," "our") is a Michigan limited liability company providing unified communications and contact center deployment, integration, and support services to mid-market organizations.

This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information collected through our website, ebctel.com (the "Site"). It does not govern data we receive or process under separate, signed engagement agreements such as Master Service Agreements, Statements of Work, or support contracts — those engagements have their own data-protection terms.

2. What information we collect

The Site is informational. We collect only what is necessary for it to function and to respond to inquiries.

Information you provide directly

When you contact us — by email link, telephone, or by following any of the inquiry calls-to-action on the Site — you may provide your name, business email address, telephone number, employer, role, and the contents of your message. We do not operate web forms that submit data through the browser; all inquiry calls-to-action open your own email client.

Server and request information

Like every website, ebctel.com is served by infrastructure that necessarily logs basic technical information about each request — IP address, user-agent string, referring URL, and timestamp. Our hosting provider (see Service providers) retains these logs for security, abuse prevention, and operational diagnostics, in accordance with their own data-retention policies.

What we do not collect

The Site does not run analytics scripts. The Site does not run advertising or remarketing pixels. The Site does not embed social-media widgets or live-chat widgets. The Site does not set tracking cookies. Our Content Security Policy is configured to forbid third-party scripts, third-party frames, and form-submission targets other than mailto:. See our Cookie Policy for the full picture.

3. How we use your information

We use the information we receive to:

  • Respond to your inquiry and engage in pre-sales discussion.
  • Send a written assessment, proposal, or other materials you have requested.
  • Maintain internal records of business inquiries and engagements.
  • Operate, secure, and maintain the Site.

We do not sell, rent, license, or otherwise share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing or commercial purposes.

4. Legal bases for processing

To the extent applicable law (such as the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation, where it would apply to a non-resident contact) requires us to identify a legal basis for processing your personal information, we rely on:

  • Legitimate interest in responding to inbound business inquiries and maintaining basic records of those inquiries.
  • Consent, where you voluntarily provide information by initiating contact.
  • Performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures, where you have asked us to prepare an assessment, proposal, or service agreement.

5. Service providers

A small number of third-party service providers process information on our behalf, strictly to deliver and secure the Site and our business communications:

  • Cloudflare, Inc. (United States) — website hosting, DNS, edge security and abuse prevention, and inbound email routing for the ebctel.com domain.
  • Telephony carrier(s) that originate and terminate calls to the published business number.

These providers process information under their own published privacy and security commitments. They are not authorized to use information about Site visitors or inquirers for any purpose other than providing services to us.

6. Data retention

We retain inquiry correspondence for as long as is reasonably necessary to maintain a record of the business relationship — typically up to seven (7) years from last contact, unless a shorter or longer period is required by law or contract. Server access logs are retained by our hosting provider in accordance with their own retention policies.

You may request deletion of your information at any time (see Your rights). We will honor requests except to the extent retention is required for legal, accounting, audit, or legitimate dispute-resolution purposes.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we hold about you and how we use it.
  • Access a copy of that information.
  • Correct information that is inaccurate or out of date.
  • Delete information we hold, subject to the retention exceptions above.
  • Opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. As stated above, we engage in neither.
  • Non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights.

If you are a resident of California, the rights described in the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), apply to you. If you are a resident of another U.S. state with comparable privacy legislation, the comparable rights granted by that legislation apply to you.

To exercise any right, send a request to contact@ebctel.com with sufficient information for us to verify your identity and locate your records. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.

8. Security

The Site is delivered exclusively over HTTPS, with HTTP Strict Transport Security, a strict Content Security Policy, anti-clickjacking and MIME-sniffing protections, and a privacy-preserving referrer policy. Inquiry correspondence is held in business email systems with access limited to authorized personnel.

No system is perfectly secure. We will notify affected individuals and regulators of a security incident in accordance with applicable law.

9. Children's privacy

The Site is directed at business users. It is not directed at children under thirteen (13), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have done so, please contact us so we can delete it.

10. International users

EBC is a United States company, and the Site is hosted in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, the information you provide will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site. Continued use of the Site after a revision constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
