1. About this Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how Enhanced Business Communications LLC ("EBC") uses cookies and similar technologies — or, more accurately, how the ebctel.com website mostly does not use them.

It is a companion to our Privacy Policy. Read together, the two documents describe the full picture of what is and isn't tracked when you visit the Site.

2. What is a cookie

A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store on your device. Cookies are commonly used to keep you logged in, to remember preferences, to measure traffic, or to track behavior across multiple websites for advertising purposes.

Similar technologies — local storage, session storage, browser fingerprinting, tracking pixels, web beacons — accomplish related ends through other means. For the purposes of this Policy, "cookies" includes all such technologies.

3. What this Site sets

The ebctel.com Site does not set tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or advertising cookies.

Specifically, the Site does not run:

• Web analytics (Google Analytics, Plausible, Fathom, Matomo, or similar).
• Advertising or retargeting pixels (Google Ads, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, or similar).
• Embedded social-media widgets that load third-party scripts.
• Live-chat widgets.
• A/B testing or session-replay tools.

The Site's Content Security Policy is configured to forbid the loading of third-party scripts, the embedding of the Site in third-party frames, and the submission of form data to any destination other than mailto:.

4. What our infrastructure may set

A small number of cookies may nevertheless be set by the infrastructure that delivers the Site:

• Cloudflare security cookies. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may set a cookie (commonly named __cf_bm or cf_clearance) to distinguish human visitors from automated traffic and to mitigate denial-of-service attacks. These cookies are strictly necessary for the operation and protection of the Site. They contain no personal information beyond what is required for the security check itself, and they are set on the ebctel.com domain.

These are sometimes called "essential" or "strictly necessary" cookies. Most cookie-consent regulations exempt strictly-necessary cookies from the consent requirement, on the basis that the website would not function without them.

5. Third-party requests made by the Site

When the Site loads, your browser is asked to fetch web fonts (Inter Tight, Fraunces, JetBrains Mono) from Google Fonts at fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. Per Google's published documentation, the Google Fonts service does not set cookies on visitor browsers.

No other third-party domains are requested by the Site.

6. How to manage cookies

You can review and remove cookies stored by your browser, and configure your browser to refuse cookies altogether, through your browser's settings. Major browsers publish documentation:

If you block strictly-necessary cookies, parts of the Site (most importantly, the Cloudflare security check) may not function correctly.

7. Changes to this Policy

We will update this Policy if the cookie behavior of the Site materially changes — for example, if we ever introduce analytics. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
